Activities day two.

Musical chairs was enthusiastically played after breakfast to get us all awake for the meetings. The campers listened well and engaged in the group readings and answering questions.

To say that this afternoon was wet one, would be a gross understatement. The Lake district finally showed its true colours, and it howled it down, gloriously drenching everything in the warm wet stuff we call rain. Almost on a par with Scotland!  Fortunately for us leaders we sheltered in pubs and other such establishments while the children braved the elements on the rocks, river and lake. Two birthdays today so always an excuse for cake! Cake never ever, ever gets turned down at camp! We thank you for your continued prayers for camp, recognising that unless God builds the house we work in vain. Please pray for the speakers at camp Tom, Jeff and Phil. Pray that they will be given strength to deliver their message and strength to do it well. Tent leaders would also value your prayers as they take ‘tent prayers’ each evening, and are given a chance for more intimate discussion with the campers. Tonight is ‘Q n A’ session for the older campers, whilst the younger ones model iconic London buildings.

Another busy day on camp!
