Our overnight flight took us from Mexico to Egypt, with all the passengers raring to go at the morning whistle. After a delicious breakfast we headed to church in Ulverston, where Ole introduced us to Saul and his relentless persecution of the Church. Afterwards, we enjoyed an Egyptian picnic in the sandy desert of Roanhead, the infamous Egyptian tourist attraction. We had a crash course in sand building, creating masterpieces comparable to the Great Pyramids before chasing after Sphinxes in the sand dunes. Worn out from our travels, we headed back to camp to hear Josh tell us how Saul had a miraculous, life-changing encounter with Jesus and went from persecutor to preacher.
The evening is currently wrapping up (pun very much intended) with the creation of toilet-paper mummies before the campers head to their tents for the next installation of Galatians.
Praise God for a fantastic day of fun and for the excellent messages brought to us by Ole and Josh. Please pray that, like Saul, they would have a life-changing encounter with Jesus and live their lives to serve Him.
