Tuesday morning camp woke up to a beautiful sunny morning!

The morning, as usual, was breakfast followed by the talks. Today, Phil gave the talk on obedience to the younger group, whilst Tom taught the older group about disciple-making.

The afternoons activity was a walk starting from Torver common and then up alongside Lake Coniston. We started with lunch, and also had a couple of stop-offs later in the afternoon by the lake. The walk took about 3 and a half hours, and was enjoyed by all.

On our return the campsite, a game of leaders vs campers football was organised for the hour before dinner, with the campers winning about 5-2!

Dinner was followed by two talks given by Phil Heaps to the two age groups on Love, Sex and Marriage. This was taking from Song of Solomon.

We also started our campers competition for the week this evening – with water gun duels between the campers!

Please give thanks for the beautiful day we had for our walk today.

Pray that God would use the conversations that were had during the walk.

Give thanks for more encouragement from tent prayers last night, with a number of campers taking part in the prayer time afterwards, and getting more involved in the discussions.

Pray also that tiredness won’t become too much of an issue later in the week in terms of the talks, and tent prayer times particularly.

We would also ask for continued prayer for the weather we have fore cast for later in the week.
