As the week shoots by like rocket, we entered our ‘space race’ day! Just as we have no clue about most of space, the campers had (basically) no clue what to expect!
Blasting through the morning meeting, Brian was talking on Revelation 18, explaining how mankind is constantly seeking personal gain, not caring about the nation. As Christians, we are called to be in the world, but not of the world. God will provide for us what we need, so we should follow His lead.
After a rainy start in the morning, the weather cleared up and campers were launched off on their activities. Some ghyll scrambling, some rock climbing and the rest on the stand up paddleboards in Coniston Water. From flipping trick to lost and found phones on mountains, campers continued to flourish with energy.
Ready to refuel, dinner was served. Flying saucers even landed on todays pudding! Although the plan to play ‘Ultimate UFO’ (a spin-off of Ultimate Frisbee) ended faster than Apollo 1 (as the campers were far to keen to play football), campers got to choose what to spend their time on.
As we enter into our last day tomorrow, who knows what the future has in store for these campers… Find out more tomorrow!
