Activities begin

Today we really started getting into the routine of camp. In our morning meeting Jeff Haskins spoke to the older campers on the resurrection and ascension of Jesus, and Tom Johnson spoke on Faith. The campers really listened well and took in what was said. Then lunch, after which the activities for the day started. In answer to prayers the weather held and we enjoyed quite a warm afternoon in our different outdoor activities. The wet activities like raft building and gorge scrambling can be done in the rain without any bother, whereas rock climbing becomes nigh impossible. Also the general moral of the campers relies a wee bit on the weather, please do keep praying for the weather! Please also pray for the campers that come from church backgrounds. They can have a tendency to simply answer questions well and not really connect with what is being said, and that goes for us all! Pray that hearts would be changed. Meanwhile, a sherlock holmes puzzle game is about to start outdoors.
