This morning everyone woke up bright and early to a very clear sky and the sun shining down on the campsite. It’s a lovely reminder that God has blessed us with being able to be back in person this year and it feels fantastic!
Today was the first morning to make packed lunches and shortly after we had a very yummy breakfast and there were a lot of empty chocolate spread jars to be seen around. Ole brought another word from the Bible in the morning meeting where we talked about how Jesus existed and how he was personally active before the the incarnation and where we can see it in the Old Testament in Exodus 3:1-10.
Shortly afterwards we split into 2 groups; the younger campers who went rock climbing and abseiling, and the older campers went and built rafts on the lake. It’s safe to say that not all the campers stayed dry…
Everyone is now arriving back and having much needed showers before we have dinner. Dinner tonight is pasta and meatballs, prepared by the amazing Sarah and Jane who always have plenty of food to feed the hungry campers after a busy day.
After dinner we are going to be playing some water games and then ending the day with tent prayers.
