It was reat to see some of you at our Compass Camps 50th Anniversary Celebration.  Thank you for your prayers and support for camp over the years, and for this year too.

2025 Compass Camps Theme

At our event, we revealed our camp theme for 2025.  You’ll soon be able to see a recording of the service yesterday on YouTube which will have the big reveal in it, but this email is to let you know as well so that you can tell your campers.  As we’re celebrating our 50th anniversary this year, we wanted to look back over our 50 years and beyond, as well as ahead to the future.  So our camp theme is….

TIME TRAVEL!

We’ll be heading to meet the Egyptians, dinosaurs, and Victorians, as well as going forwards in time to a futuristic time of flying cars.  We’re really excited about this fun theme, and hope your campers are too.  We will be having a fancy dress evening on the last day of camp, so do get them to start thinking about what they’d like to come dressed as related to the theme.

2025 Compass Camps Bible Theme

Another announcement from yesterday was our Bible theme.  Equally, we wanted this to be linked to our 50th anniversary, particularly God’s faithfulness over the years, and the fact we can trust Him into the future too.  So, our Bible theme is:

We’re very grateful to Ole, our teaching coordinator, for his work on the teaching this year, as well as our tent leaders for planning tent prayers.  We hope that your campers will find it challenging and fulfilling.

Final details and reminders for Camp 2025

Camp this year will be held at:

Drop off is at 1pm on Saturday 2nd August.  Campers should then be picked up the Saturday after, 9th August, by 10:30am.

If there are any emergencies during the week, please call 07395 468987. However, please only use this in an emergency, so that the line is free for this. If there are any other, less urgent issues, please email me at josh@compasscamps.org, and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

You have completed a consent form with any of your campers’ medical needs, medication, dietary requirements, and all other important information.  If any of this information has changed since you completed the form, please let us know as soon as possible.  If you’re not sure if you included the information on the form, please let us know anyway – we would much rather have the information twice rather than not at all.

We’ll be praying for your campers over the next couple of months, that God would prepare them for what they’ll be learning on camp.  Please also pray for us as a team as we make final preparations.
