And Then It Was Time to Say Goodbye…

After the fun of the last night together the following morning came around far too quickly. After one last breakfast together, it was time to break camp, pack up our tents and gather everything that had made Compass Camp home for the week.

There was the usual mixture of tiredness, last-minute packing and making sure nothing had been left behind — but also plenty of laughter and memories to take with us. Then came the hardest part: saying goodbye.

After such a full week together, it was strange to see camp gradually empty and everyone heading off in different directions. We’re so grateful to God for all the fun, friendship, games, teaching and adventures we shared together.

For now, it’s goodbye from Compass Camp — but hopefully not for long. We’re already looking forward to seeing everyone again in 2027!
