Well, the games yesterday certainly were messy, involving balloons and poster paint, so some of us went to sleep still streaked with beautiful florescent colours.
It’s been another hot and sunny day. Eggs, beans and fried potatoes, and of course porridge went down very well, to fill us up ready to listen to Jeff. We learned more about Jacob’s life, focusing today on how having deceived his father and brother, he was tricked by his uncle and ended up marrying Leah and Rachel. This could make for some interesting questions in tent prayers tonight. Most of the children seem to be listening well and thinking about what they hear.
We’ve enjoyed a lovely walk together, with some opting for swims in the stream and lake and some taking the opportunity while we stopped to catch up on sleep.
Curry and pavlova left many empty plates, and we’re just about to have more games then tent prayers……. More to follow tomorrow.
Photos from today’s walk and from the camp and tent group photos taken after the morning meeting have been uploaded to an album on our flickr page.
